Our Mission:
Amazing Grace Bird Rescue is a not-for-profit organization, started in 2002 by
D. Lynn Morgan as a mission dedicated to serving her Heavenly Father through the
rescue and surrender of exotic birds.
Lynn began the journey of providing a place where these little souls that were
abandoned and abused could come for love and the beginning of the rehabilitation
of their broken bodies, hearts, and spirits as she seeks to find them a
family. When this is not possible,
they are accepted and made a part of the
flock of the rescue forever. With the help of those who also believe that we are
responsible to Our Heavenly Father for His living creatures,
the rescue will grow and be there for all that need it.

When a feathered family member
falls victim to the
economic plight of their human flock, we
will offer safe haven without judgment when
asked, "Can you please take my bird?"
If misunderstandings between the family
and their winged one threatens to tear
them apart, we will do all that we can,
through
home evaluations, gently asking and anwering questions
and if necessary, providing rehabilitation for the bird and training
for the family
so that once again they can all
exist in peace and happiness.
We will educate the public to the long term commitment and
reponsibilities that are necessary to fullfill the needs of these feathered
children.

Our Prayer:
Father,
we pray for homes and families that know how to love
these birds unconditionally. When You lead Your
flighted
ones to these families and forever homes, we will be grateful.
We will praise You and say "Thank
You Father for letting us be Your bridge.
Even though we will cry as we send these little souls to their ordained
homes, we will be grateful that You,
Father, allowed us to have this time,
however brief or long,
in which to have the love and memory of these little ones that we can carry in
our hearts." Amen

"He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."
Psalm 91:4 (NIV)
